La Barca Restaurant is one of the oldest institutions in Forte dei Marmi. Its origins date back to 1906, when the sea captain Leo Tacchella disembarked from the boat, used to transport wine from the island of Elba to Forte dei Marmi, onto the beach where La Barca is situated today.

The traditions remain in tact and the manager Pietro awaits his guests in the comfortable spaces of his restaurant that many renowned personalities have frequented during their relaxing holiday on Forte dei Marmi.
